Banana Bread French Toast

This beautiful recipe by Andies Kitchen in Los Angeles is a simple way to eat clean. Taking only minutes to prepare this delicious french toast can be eaten for breakfast or as a simple snack.

Serves 4-6 people

 

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 slices of banana bread from Andie’s Kitchen or 2 slices of bread
  • 3 eggs
  • 3 tbsp of almond milk
  • Banana and blueberries to garnish
  • Pure Vanilla protein powder (optional)
  • sprinkle or cinnamon and cayenne

METHOD

  • Place eggs into a bowl and mix together
  • Add vanilla protein powder to the egg mixture and stir
  • Place a slice of bread or a slice of banana bread into the egg mixture and allow the egg to soak into the bread
  • Heat a pan on the stove and drizzle a tbsp of olive oil
  • Place the egg soaked banana bread into the pan
  • Cook until bread is toasted and the egg is cooked through
  • Place your french toast on your plate and garnish with bananas, blueberries cinnamon and cayenne
